NGC 3607, which is the largest, brightest object in this image, is the largest member of a small collection of galaxies known as the NGC 3607 Group. It includes NGC 3608 (left) and NGC 3605 (right).

A ground-based image of NGC 3607. Its central regions form the bright oval at center, although the galaxy's stars form a yellow "haze" that fills much of the frame.
